A Week Today – The Dog Detective Tour Begins!

On the 20th July, the Dog Detectives’ authors, Fin & Zoa will be starting their nine week long tour! A Beastie Book Signing!

Author of the Fearsome Beastie, Giles Paley-Phillips, popped over to Eastbourne Waterstone’s at the weekend and did a beastie book signing. The event was a sucess, with the children loving the scary story and it’s main character, the fearsome beastie!  We even had a few children draw their own monsters!  Maverick want to thank the fantastic staff at Eastbourne Waterstone’s for inviting Giles to their store.

The Dog Detective’s UK Tour!

The Dog Detectives authors, Fin & Zoa, are coming to England with the two dogs!  They will be doing a book tour starting from Portsmouth and ending back in London.  You can see a rough route here: They will be book signing enroute at various book stores around the country.  Here are a few of the posters for their first few stops (click to enlarge):

Published World Road Show

Published World is a local company whose aim is to bring some of the  books from small publishers to schools.  To get the ball rolling they are holding a Road Show, starting at Crawley. – You can find some Maverick books for sale at the event! A Yummy Book Reading

Author Julie Fulton, donned her chef’s hat again to provide marvelous Mrs MacCready cupcakes for her Waterstone’s book reading at Stratford-Upon-Avon. The event was a huge success and the children loved the story and all the fun activities.
