Bonkers About Beetroot wins Maverick Book of the Year!

Maverick authors and illustrators gathered for the annual Christmas party last Saturday night at the Brass Monkey pub in London. ‘Another diverting drama from Pod’s creators’ Red Reading Hub reviews Game of Stones

Red Reading Hub enjoyed the follow up story to Stone Underpants, Game of Stones by Rebecca Lisle and illustrated by Richard Watson: ‘A playful tale, some groan worthy puns, not least being the book’s title and suitably crazy scenes of Stone Age carry-ons make for another diverting drama from Pod’s creators’.
