Trip to Oxford

We were really excited.  Nice Bear and Naughty Bear are holding a picnic in Oxford on Saturday and we’ve been invited to come along.  Harry and Netty love picnics and can’t wait to see the bears again.  The Seagulls threatened they would throw empty crisp packets at him, if he was horrible to them. Scampi suggested that I drive to Oxford.  Can you imagine a Sea Tractor driving on the motor… Read More »Trip to Oxford

Results of the Koob Debate

The results of the Koob Debate, voted by those living around Koob beach was that Scampi and I came first, followed by Netty and Harry and last but certainly not least the seagulls – to their sheer horror!   In a sulk they flew off, nowhere to be seen or heard; well for at least a few hours anyway.  Did we think they had left Koob forever?  Definitely not!    They… Read More »Results of the Koob Debate

Dogs of Rock in the paper

The Dogs of Rock book is gonna be in the papers.  In the Telegraph – a bit of promo for the band and for the book. I’m sure the guys at Maverick will post up the article when it hits the press. And I bet you’re wondering what we’ve been doing since the end of the tour?  Well we were dog tired (excuse the pun!) so we’ve been lazying around having… Read More »Dogs of Rock in the paper

The Koob Debate

There was a big debate at Koob beach today.  Netty and Harry insisted that they should come to Koob everyday after school and at weekends with all their friends and play on the beach.  Stephen Seagull and Molly demanded they should be allowed to help themselves to everyone’s food without asking especially when they were really hungry. Me and Scampi suggested that Netty and Harry could come to the beach… Read More »The Koob Debate

Boasting Bear

I’m going to Oxford, I’m going to Oxford! Na na na na!  Teacher has asked me, as I am the best bear in the class, to sell raffle tickets for the Teddy Bears’ Picnic.  Of course I am going sell squillions, as everybody likes me and they are sure to buy them. Watch out Oxford, Boasting Bear from Nice Bear Naught Bear, is coming to town.  [email protected]

Fred on Wifi

What a busy week I have had this week. I’ve been gallivanting around the country (well Chester, Liverpool and Manchester) meeting fellow hat fans in Waterstone’s.  I’m currently in Liverpool – just using a short moment to write this, in between book readings.  I am getting quite good at this Internet malarkey.  I now have a Facebook page, a MySpace and I’m on YouTube, not bad for a small town… Read More »Fred on Wifi

Easter at Koob

We found a large egg on Koob beach.  It was the size of a boat.  Molly said that she had laid it, but we knew she was fibbing.  ‘A Seagull can’t lay an egg that big.’  Scampi said. We waited to see if anything would happen and thought maybe it’s made out of chocolate, Stephen Seagull started pecking at it to see if it tasted sweet and rich. ‘Don’t do… Read More »Easter at Koob
