On 15th September the Dog Detectives authors cycled their way to the Canine Partner’s HQ at Heyshott. Giles headed to the family support work charity fun day (where he is a partron) to read his book the Fearsome Beastie. The sun was shining and a great day was had by all!

A year and a bit after Fin and Zoa first penned the Lost in London book, their two dogs Jack and Poco Loco have now cycled into the capital city. Their alter-egos the Dog Detectives discover the city in Lost in London, visiting all the fam0us landmarks. Here are some photos of the real dogs:

Fin & Zoa attended their penultimate event at the Golden Treasury  yesterday!  Golden Treasury is the largest independent children’s book shop in London! Maverick Arts Publishing are exhibiting at Top Drawer Autumn this year.  We will be taking our children’s books and also our range of children’s greetings cards. The event is at Olympia from 11th – 13th September. We are stand number M27 – please come along and say hello!

Steve and Kim popped up to Cambridge yesterday to spend a day with our travelling authors, Fin & Zoa. It was a fantastic day at Cambridge Heffers with lots of people coming in after hearing the radio interview the day before. Jack and Poco Loco were a huge hit with the children.  Here’s a little video from after the event, when they were all relaxing with tea and coffee!

Fin & Zoa have previously been in the Velo Vision Magazine when they were cycling around Europe.  Now that they are in England and in Derby, it seemed logical to meet up with the editor of Velo Vision, Peter Eland. Here are some pictures:
