Clare Helen Welsh’s first picture book, Aerodynamics of Biscuits, will be released in just a few weeks and everyone is getting very excited! Clare’s local paper, the Plymouth Herald, has written an article on her soon to be published book and the story behind the story…
“The story, based on my son, his love of midnight feasts and his wonderful imagination, has been beautifully illustrated by Sophia Touliatou.
“Although she’s never actually met or heard of my son, the similarities between him and the character in the book are incredible. She’s even drawn the character in a pair of rocket pyjamas that Oliver has at home!
“He’s been so thrilled by seeing himself in a real book that he has even taken to writing and illustrating his own books – he now wants to be ‘a kid author’, as he calls it.”
