ASPACE is a wonderful company who make inspirational beds and bedroom furniture for children to give them a creative space of their own.
They have teamed up with The Great British Bookshop to put together a list of the best bedtime reads which will be voted for by expert bloggers to find the winner to be awarded The Best Bedtime Book Award. 
Our very own Rachel Lyon has been selected with her book I Wish I’d Been Born a Unicorn. ASPACE interviewed her about her writing and her love of children’s books. On the importance of bedtime stories, Rachel said:
“The bedtime story is a very special time for parents and their children. It’s a real bonding experience. Some of my most vivid childhood memories are of bedtime stories with my dad – crying at Charlotte’s Web, marvelling at James and the Giant Peach. Children learn so much from stories. It’s a safe way to explore the world and exercise their imaginations. Plus, if they learn to love books when they’re young, it will stand them in good stead for the rest of their lives. It’s vital, I think.”
