Pirates Don’t Drive Diggers is the second children’s picture book written by Maverick author Alex English and illustrated by the fantastic Duncan Beedie.
The story is about reluctant pirate apprentice Brad who is sent to work on The Salty Dog to learn all about being a pirate when all really wants is to drive a digger. After many disastrous attempts at pirating, Brad is giving one last chance – find the buried treasure or walk the plank! When his shovel breaks, all looks lost, but maybe he can find some help at the local building site…
