“When we first read Not Without My Whale I had a little chuckle to myself.  The story reminded me of a little boy I know very well who couldn’t bare to be parted from his stinky, tatty old teddy.
Without ruining the ending, the attention that the Whale gets at lunchtime has far-reaching consequences! Â Kids will love the ending, parents maybe not quite do much. But Monkey thought it was funny.”
