“This is a very kooky book which of course means I love it! Izy Penguin (isn’t that a wonderful name!) is a brilliant writer and gifted illustrator. She’s written a few books already: No Pets, Freddie & Friends, and I Spy. Grandma Bendy is the the only one I’ve read so far but I’m on the hunt for her other books too.
Look out for the little mice that pop up in the corners of the book with excited little exclamations as the story goes on: “The rotters have nicked the goldfish!!” and “Doesn’t Bendy look grey!” ” Read the full review by clicking here!
