World Book Day is about sharing books with everyone – as a publisher we try to do this all year round through many events and author book readings.  This World Book day we have some special events taking place (see events page for more).

MD of Maverick, Steve Bicknell and his wife, Karen are both supporters of one of our local charities, Chestnut Tree House in West Sussex. This is a hospice for children, 0 – 19yrs, with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses. It provides a home away from home, supporting both the children and their families. It is a very good cause.
For World Book Day Maverick have sent a parcel of books to the Chestnut Tree House. We hope that everyone there will enjoy reading them and being read to.
