The World Book Day Beastie Book Marathon!

Wow what a day!

The Beastie book marathon team started at 9am at Seaford Primary School where Giles read to the entire assembly of 400 children, then it was a mad dash to Annecy School, also in Seaford to read to the whole school again, then we zoomed into Chyngton School, to read to read to an entire school of pupils dressed in their favourite book characters.

At Cradle Hill School, Seaford, Giles read to 419 children at 11.00, then it was off to schools in Lewes, Southover Primary school & Eastbourne, Roselands school,  where Giles Broke the 1,500 children barrier!

To make the day even more special we also heard that the Fearsome Beastie has made the final of the People’s Book Prize.

So overall a great World Book Day – I hope that those that took part had a good time!  We certainly did!

Here some photos from the schools (permission given to publish these):
