“Well I remember it like it was yesterday…I think. Â Back in the old day when I was a nipper I used to help in the Royal kitchens. Â We used to make jelly by the ton but i’ll tell you what – it never talked back.
It’s the youngsters of today. Â Have no respect. Â Even the jelly is refusing to do the one thing jelly is supposed to do. Â It is all this rebelling against the norm.
So I did what all rule abiding OAPs would do – I prodded it with my walking stick.
It didn’t work. Â Wouldn’t have happened it my day – jelly’s had more respect!”
