When this arrived I thought the boys are going to love this! The front cover certainly attracted their attention and wanted to read the book. We have read it many times and they can even tell others how super glue was invented now! The illustrations certainly bring the story to life. However, they did get a little confused initially that the glue was pink. There is a statement about this though at the start of the story. Absolutely agree this promotes the fact a negative can be a positive. Mine hate to fail but we can now use this as an example. We read this a couple of times a week with a mix of independent reading and being read to. The boys loved the science and educational aspect of the story as they love to learn. I liked the fact this book was just the right length and educational. I would look out for this author as this was easy to read and a fun way to learn. The book is printed on good quality paper. Good value as about the same price as any other children’s book. I would buy this as the boys both loved it. Lots of positive aspects. I would recommend and we have even let others read it and have loved it. A great book all round. Educational and amusing. Easy to read for child’s independent reading. This looked bright, colourful and great illustrations. Front cover very inviting and my son wanted to read the book. My son loved the story. Illustrations really good and fitted well with the story. This book has a good message. We are still reading this 2/3 times a week. My son loved that it was to do with something a bit messy. I liked the fat the book told the story as well as being factual. I would look out for books by this author now we have been reading this one. A very high quality book. Good value for money. I would definitely buy this book. These stories are perfect for some bed time reading and great for inquisitive little minds. I would recommend as it is a great book and well written and illustrated. This is great book. It is bright, colourful and well-illustrated. The story is well written and great for little inquisitive minds. The book looked good quality, the illustrations were clear and we were both looking forward to reading the book. my son liked the colours on the front cover and the illusion made the book look exciting. My son and I enjoyed the book, it was informative But with a fun twist. The illustrations inside the book were excellent they brought the book to life and made you feel like you were there in the story. this book was the invention of super glue, it was informative but in a fun way, we both learnt things we didn’t know especially the science behind super glue. we have read the book 3 times since it arrived. I read it to him as a night time story and part of home learning. My son like the part of the story where the super glue stuck to everyone and everything in sight, this made him laugh. I particularly liked the fact that the invention was a mistake but a very good one. I would buy from the author again, I liked the fact that the book was good for my son and myself, he didn’t get bored and we have been able to read it over again. The quality is very good the writing is bold, clear and easy to read & the pictures are colourful and engaging. I think the value for money is excellent, it’s not a short story, it’s full of activity and fun. I would buy it perhaps for a birthday present for a friend of my sons. I would recommend the book to family and friends, I would like to try a different title in the future. I was impressed with this book, I liked the story, the pictures and the fact it kept my son engaged. The book was very good quality, the illustrations and story were fun and engaging. My son found parts of the story interesting but also educational at the same time. I would definitely buy a book from the author again in the future & would recommend it to others who like to read.
