This week’s gig is a bit special. Thekla, the venue, is a boat in Bristol – fitted out to be a bar and a club. It’s got a bit of history surrounding it so it makes a great venue. It even has graffiti on the side by the famous graffiti artist Banksy – so we did our backdrop in a graffiti style.Â
Good job the boat isn’t on stormy waters…else it would be a messy gig! Perhaps we should invite Peggie Sue? She’d feel right at home.
Tonight we have a few surprises for the fans…perhaps a nautical number? The Beatles did the Yellow Submarine; now The Dogs of Rock will do…you’ll have to wait until tonight (or the next blog)!
