The Beastie Book Marathon World Book Day 2012

Maverick author, Giles Paley-Phillips will be attempting to read his new book The Fearsome Beastie to over 1,000 Sussex school children on 1st March, World Book Day.

The book has already come in for critical acclaim and is shortlisted for the Rotherham Children’s Book Award as well as being nominated for THE PEOPLE’S BOOK PRIZE.

Taking part in the Beastie Book Marathon is Seaford Primary School where Giles will read at an assembly to 200 children, then it’s a mad dash to Annecy School, also in Seaford to read to the whole school.

At Cradle Hill School, Seaford, Giles will read to 419 children at 11.00, then it’s off to schools in Lewes & Eastbourne where Giles is confident of breaking the 1,000 children barrier!
