Reception classes at Blenheim Primary School learned about some creative sheep when author Amanda Brandon took along her picture book ‘A Scarf and a Half’ featuring knitting loving Granny Mutton and her grandson Little Lionel.
Amanda said, “We talked about the story, where wool comes from and what we could use it for. I also had a peek at the school’s fabulous new library which fundraisers had worked hard to pack with great books. It looked well worth the wait.”
