Angela at Chatterbooks Session

Jelly well and truly wobbled at Forest Hill at their last Chatterbooks session before the Summer holidays begin, when Angela read her book The Jelly That Wouldn’t Wobble. The enthusiastic regulars made jelly crowns, or princess crowns first, then they all settled down for the story – lots of suggestions for making the jelly wobble from the children, such as ‘put it in the oven’ and ‘push it’! The children then ate – between the giggles – mini wobbly jellies that Angela had made. Finally, they finished off with a treature hunt for gold, chocolate sovereigns – if you’ve read the story, you’ll know the reason for these. Lovely end to another great Chatterbooks programme!
