Jackfruit!

Good afternoon chaps, its Detective Jack reporting from under a shady bottle brush tree. The Dog Detectives have stopped to have a little snack. I tell you cycling really works up an appetite, not that it is hard to get my appetite going. No cookies today, just fruit. Islington Waterstone’s

Permission given for use of this photo Loretta visited the Islington branch of Waterstone’s on July 2nd, where she read to two classes from Drayton Park Primary School. The Sun and Moon class listened to Loretta read to them before having a go at some colouring-in. We have put four of these up on our activities page.

As you can see from his photos, Fred rubbed shoulders with plenty of hearty shipmates, including Liverpool Lord Mayor Hazel Williams and Fred Talbot, aka Fred… Read More »Pirate Day, Albert Dock

Australia is south of the equator, that imaginary line that wraps around the world smack dab in the middle between the north and south poles. So while it may be snowing in Russia, everyone in Australia might be going for a… Read More »the Equator

The other side of the house

Hello! My Granny’s house is strange place – Granny Mag says it has been in the family for generations.   She only lives in one half, the other half is full of strange bits and bobs that my ancestors have collected.   I sometimes think they still live there, as sometimes objects move. Granny says that is Moptop, her cat, knocking things…But i’m not so sure.  I’m staying over this weekend, so… Read More »The other side of the house
