Christmas is coming and I’m brimming with excitement!
I was on the phone to my old friend Santa the other day, he was wondering if he should try a new hat this year. Â I suggested a red top hat with a white brim might look dapper.
“Not nearly warm enough around the ears,” said Santa. “And Rudolph takes off with such a whoosh that it would probably keep blowing away!”
“What about a Stetson?” I asked.
Santa said that would be very smart but far too wide to fit down a chimney.
“OK, so what about white with a red bobble, instead of red with a white bobble?” I offered.
“You’ve must be joking,” said Santa. “White? With all that soot?”
In the end, we decided that he should probably just go with the old favourite – red with a white bobble. Cosy, slimline, stable and stylish!
